Greeted at Marseille Provence airport or train station. Arrive at the beautiful Clos de Saint Phare, your villa above the sea. Depending on arrival times, we will enjoy a delicious dinner or a variety of light hors d'oeuvres while sampling Provence rosé. You will meet your language instructor for the week.

Breakfast and a morning French lesson. We then make our way to the town of Salon de Provence. Here you will have a tour in French of the last home of Nostradamus, French apothecary and reputed seer. Lunch will be in a secret garden just around the corner. After lunch, we will visit the wonderfully old soap factory, Rampal Latour, where you might be inclined to buy some lavender soap. We will take the country lanes back to the villa. Light hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine in the evening.

Here we will gather our ingredients for tomorrow's cooking lesson. Lunch in the ancient Roman town of Apt. Meandering return past Provencal villages including Lacoste, once the home of the Marquis de Sade. Light hors d'oeuvres, French lesson and a glass of wine in the evening.
